Place your child into the booster seat. Fasten the vehicle seat belt by
passing the lap strap through the seat belt guides in the armrest
(Fig.26).
Pass the diagonal strap through seat belt guide in the armrest nearest
the seat belt buckle.
Pull the seat belt tight by pulling the diagonal section of the seat belt
buckle upwards.
Check to ensure all of the slack has been removed from the seat belt
and it has not become twisted. If the diagonal section of the seat belt
lies across the neck or face of the child when seated in the booster seat
you should use the seat belt guide.
Feed the diagonal section of the seat belt through the clips of the large
buckle on the end of the seat belt guide (Fig.27).
Use the small buckle on the seat belt guide to adjust its length and to
pull it away from the face and neck of the child. Ensure the seat belt
guide is positioned on the child's shoulder and not on the neck or face.
Notes: to better protect your child
Make sure your child is securely fastened in the safety seat and the
harness snugly fits over his/her body.
Never leave your child unattended in the safety seat or in the vehicle.
When installing your child on the rear seat of the vehicle, move the
front seat forward far enough to avoid his feet hitting the backrest of
the front seat (this may also prevent risk of injury, in the case of an
accident).
Allow your child to enter and exit the vehicle only on the side away
from traffic.
V. Final Check-list
1 Check that the harness shoulder straps are in the correct position for
your child, firmly and comfortably fit on your child's body.
2 Check that the vehicles seat belt is correctly fitted around the car
seat.
