Most paints and solvents contain chemicals that are harmful to the environment.
Dispose of paints, solvents and their containers in accordance with local
regulations. Keep paint and solvents away from children.
Never pour any type of paint away down a drain.
(1): The flash point is the temperature at which an ignition source 1 cm from the surface of the liquid will
cause ignition.

Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.
Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
Protect the device against extreme heat and dust.
Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.
All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications
to the device is not covered by the warranty.
Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the
warranty.
Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and
the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

Preparation
Liquids
Paints usually need to be diluted for use with the spray gun. Before using the spray gun, determine the
viscosity of the liquid. Use the guidelines in the table below to obtain a sprayable solution.
1.
Stir the liquid thoroughly before measuring.
2.
Make sure the viscosity cup [A] is clean and fill it to the top with liquid.
3.
Measure the depletion time of the cup. Refer to the table below for an overview of recommended
depletion times (in seconds) for various types of paint.

If the measured depletion time is higher than indicated in the table, the paint must be diluted with a
suitable thinner. Mix well and measure the viscosity again. Repeat this step until the depletion time
is within the limits as shown in the table above.
