1.
Remove the battery earth cable.
Remove the covering from the back of the car.
2.
Remove the grommet which is located behind the trunks locker.
3.
Lead the 8-pole end of the wire harness in the trunk through the rubber grommet to the socket.
Fasten the wireharness with the supplied wire ties.
Pull the rubber coverplate over the harness.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as follows:
Trailer ligting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Earth
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight
Fit the socket to the towbar.
On the left side of the trunk, near the wheelcase, a 6-pole connector is located. Disconnect them.
4.
Fit the connector of the wiringharnes between the cleared connectors.
Fit the white wire to chassis earth.
5.
Fit the battery earth cable.
Check all electric functions with the trailer/caravan connected.
Mount all dissasembled parts.
