t)
Body parts and/or clothing can become entangled in moving parts, causing
serious injury or death.
u) Mower can eject objects at high speed if safety guards are not in place and
closed.
v) Transmission and drive train system must be secured in place when
operating mower to avoid injury or death from entanglement in rotating
moving parts.
w) Do not use a damaged or bent drive shaft. Such a drive shaft may disengage
while rotating at high speed, causing serious injury or death. Always take
mower out of service until a damaged drive system is repaired or replaced.
2.4. Safety during transportation
a) Slow-moving vehicles, self-propelled machinery and towed equipment can
pose hazards when driven on public roads. Consider that it may be difficult to
see such vehicles early enough to make a proper maneuver, especially at
night.
b) Observe the regulations in effect at the place of use.
c)
The maximum transport speed of the unit is 30 km/h. DO NOT exceed the
speed limit. Never drive at a speed that does not allow for proper steering
and stopping. Some rough terrain requires a lower speed.
d) Sudden braking may cause the towed load to twist and come loose. Reduce
speed if the towed load is not equipped with brakes.
e) Use the following maximum speed ratings for the towed equipment as a
guideline:
• 30 km/h when the weight is less than or equal to that of the mower.
• 15 km/h when the weight is twice that of the mower.
f)
Do not tow a load that is more than twice the weight of the mower.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device and its protective
