This appliance must not be immersed.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such
as:

Staff kitchen areas in ships, offices and other working environments; Farm houses;
by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and
breakfast type environments.

This Appliance can be used by children 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction how to use the
appliance safely and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance shall not be made by children unless
they are older than 8 years and above, under the supervision of a responsible adult
keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of young children.
USING YOUR GRIDDLE
1. Before first use, please see CLEANING INSTRUCTION and HINTS FOR CARE
AND USE OF NON-STICK SURFACES
2. Connect the main plug to an adequate earth socket
3. Set the required temperature by using the temperature control OFF/MIN/1/2/3/4/5.
The indicator should light up.
4. On its first use, the unit may emit a light smell this is normal and should only last
for a short period. Ensure sufficient ventilation.
5. As soon as this temperature is attained, the check light goes off.
6. When the grill has cooled down, the grill is heats up again automatically. The
indicator glows until the set temperature is reached again.

8. Pull out the mains plug from the socket and pull the plug from the connecting
socket.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: No parts should be placed in a dishwasher.
1. Unplug and allow to cool to a safe working temperature before cleaning or moving.
2. Remove cord set (DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER), wipe with a damp cloth and
dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: Probe and probe receptacle must always be completely dry before use. The
connection must be removed before the appliance is cleaned and that the appliance
inlet must be dried before the appliance is used again.
HINTS FOR CARE AND USE OF NON-STICK SURFACES
•
To avoid scratching the non-stick surface, do not stack objects on grill.
•
Use medium to low heat for best cooking results. Very high temperatures can
cause discoloration and shorten the life span of any non-stick surface. If higher
temperatures are required, preheat on medium for several minutes.
•
Use only nylon, plastic or wooden utensils with care to avoid scratching the non-
stick surface. Never cut food on the grill.
•
Remove stubborn stains with a plastic scouring pad and mild dishwashing liquid;
