1. GENERAL AND SAFETY-RELATED WARNINGS
CAUTION
Read this instruction manual carefully. Save it and hand it over to any
subsequent owner or user of the product.
CAUTION
This appliance is not a water purifying unit. Do not use with microbiologically
unsafe water. The appliance does not affect the concentrations of
salts in the water or its hardness. The appliance, used with the AKWA
KW801 filter, reduces: HLORINE TASTE AND ODOR, PARTICULATE,
CYST, LEAD, ASBESTOS, LINDANE, 2,4-D, TOXAPHENE, BENZENE,
CARBOFURAN, 1,4DICHLOROBENZENE, ATRAZINE, ensuring that
these substances are reduced in line with the NSF 42 and NSF 53
standards.
CAUTION
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and by person with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are supervised.
CAUTION
This equipment requires regular maintenance to ensure the level of
potability of the drinking water treated and the maintenance of the
improvements as stated by the manufacturer.
