Maintenance
Warning! Injuries and material damage due to
incorrect handling.
f Switch off the appliance before cleaning it or
performing any maintenance. Disconnect the
appliance from the power supply.
f Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
Cleaning and care
Danger! Electric shock due to penetration of
liquid.
f Do not immerse the appliance in water!
f Do not allow any liquid to get inside the
appliance.
f Only reconnect the appliance to the power
supply if it is completely dry.
Caution! Danger from aggressive chemicals.
Aggressive chemicals could damage the appli-
ance and accessories.
f Never use solvents or scouring agents.
f Only wipe the appliance with a soft cloth, which may be
dampened slightly.
f To maintain the performance of your hairdryer, regularly
clean the air inlet with a soft dry brush.
To do so, proceed as follows:
1. Twist the cover in an anti-clockwise direction (Fig. 3ⓐ)
and remove.
2. Clean the cover and air inlet with a soft brush (Fig. 4).
3. Replace the cover and turn in a clockwise direction until
it clicks into position (Fig. 3ⓑ).
Problem elimination
Appliance only runs with cold air
Cause: The overheat protection is active.
f Allow the appliance to cool down.
f Clean the air inlet (Fig. 3/4).
Appliance is not working.
Cause: Defective power supply.
f Make sure that contact between the mains and the
socket is faultless. Check the mains cable for possible
damage.

Electronic Equipment Directive 2012/19/EC
(WEEE). In accordance with this, the appliance
can no longer be disposed of with the local or
domestic waste.
The appliance will be accepted free of charge by
local collection points or recycling centres.
The packaging for this product is made from
recyclable materials. Dispose of this in an environ-
mentally friendly manner by recycling it.
