J).
Caution: The blade pair rotates and your
device is now ready for use.
Changing the blades
In order to change the blades in the knife holder, insert
a pair of clean blades mounted on the handle unit into
one of the two openings on the knife holder (Fig. M).
Press the button to release the blade pair. In the process,
support the knife holder with one hand while pulling the
handle unit away from the blades (Fig. N). Now align
the end of the other blade pair with the corresponding
opening on the handle unit (Fig. O), push the handle unit
forward until the blade pair has locked into place and pull
them both out of the knife holder as one unit (Fig. P).
Attention: Always avoid coming into contact with the
blades while using the knife! Ensure that you pull on the
plastic handles when removing the blades and do not
come into contact with the cutting edges (Fig. K).
Pflegen und Reinigen
Separate the blade pair and wash it by hand
or in the dishwasher (Fig. L). For easy cleaning,
simply wipe the blades off with a warm, wet
cloth. Do not use any solvents or abrasive
cleaning agents. Allow the blades to dry
completely before putting the product away.
Only insert clean blades in the knife holder.
Some kinds of vegetables and fruits such as
red beets may discolour the plastic parts. This
is normal and no cause for concern and does
not fall under the product's warranty.
