INSTALL HOOD MOUNTING BRACKET
WARNING: WHEN CUTTING OR DRILLING INTO WALL, DO NOT DAMAGE ELECTRICAL WIRING AND OTHER
HIDDEN UTILITIES. WHEN BUILDING FRAMEWORK, ALWAYS FOLLOW ALL APPLICABLE CONSTRUCTION
CODES AND STANDARDS.
IMPORTANT:
make sure that the holes locations are levelled and correctly centered with the vertical
centerline.
WARNING: 2 PEOPLE ARE REQUIRED TO LIFT AND POSITION THE HOOD ONTO THE MOUNTING SCREWS .
1. Determine and mark the centerline on the cabinet where the range hood will be installed.
2. Select a mounting height between a minimum of 26" for an electric cooking surface, a minimum of
30" for a gas cooking surface.
3. Mark a reference line on the wall.
4. Before making cutouts, make sure there is proper clearance
from the range hood to the cook top.
5. Disconnect the power.
6. IMPORTANT: All screws must be installed into wood. If there
is no wood to screw into, additional wall framing supports
may be required.
7. Make sure the location is strong enough to support the
weight of the hood.
8. Drill ³⁄₁₆" pilot holes at all locations where screws are being
installed into wood.
9. Install two mounting screws with the 2 wall anchors.
10. Leave a ¹⁄₄" (6.4 mm) gap between the wall and the back of the screw head to slide range hood
into place
11. Hang the hood on the two mounting screws through the mounting slots on the rear of the unit.

WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN INSTALLING THE DECORATIVE CHIMNEY AND HOOD, THEY MAY HAVE SHARP EDGES.
CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE PLASTIC FILM COVERING THE DECORATIVE CHIMNEY
Center the bracket over the hood location and place it flush with the
ceiling.
Use the upper chimney mounting bracket as a template to mark the
position of its screws.
Drill both screw holes using a 5/16" drill bit. Insert the included drywall anchors into the drilled holes
(one per hole).
Secure the upper chimney bracket to the wall using 2 (M4x16) mounting screws. Make sure that the
bracket is tight against the wall.
