6. MAINTENANCE
In order to always keep the product clean:
∙ Use purified water.
∙ Regularly clean the base of the unit, the water tank, and the transducer according to
the instructions below.
∙ Always change the water in the water tank with clean water every day, in the event
that it has not all been used during normal operation.
∙ Always empty the water tank when it is not being used.
- Cleaning the water tank (every 2 - 3 weeks):
Unscrew the water tank's lid and rinse the water tank with water to remove any lime
deposits.
If you deem it necessary, use vinegar dissolved in water to remove any tough deposits
of lime. Alternatively, there are several cleaning solutions on the market for removing
lime which are suitable for humidifiers. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions
when using this type of product.
- Cleaning the hollow in the base (once a week):
If any lime deposits have formed in the hollow in the base, remove them with a soft cloth
dampened with a neutral cleaning agent and rinse with water.
