3. How to use
3.1. Power On/Off
To power the units on push the "Power" switch to the top. The
LCD display is on and shows the selected group number. Push
the "Power" switch down to turn the device off.
3.2. Transmission (TELME-T only)
The transmission is starting automatically as soon as the device
is turned on. The LCD is displaying "TALK"
3.3. Reception (TELME-R only)
The unit starts receiving automatically after switching it on. The
signal level bar is changing according to the strength of the
received signal.
3.4. Group selection
Push the "Power" switch down, press and hold the "▲" and "▼"
button at the same time and push the "Power" switch to the top.
The "GRP" on the LCD is blinking. Choose the Group number
you desire by pressing the "▲" or "▼" button and then release all
the buttons for longer than 5 seconds to confirm it. The blinking
of "GRP" on LCD stopps and the selected Group number is
displayed.
3.5. Volume Up/ Down (TELME-R only)
Press "Mode" button once. "VOL" is displayed right next to the
currently selected volume level. Change the volume level by
pressing "▲" or "▼". Volume levels 0-8 are available.
3.6. Side Tone On/ Off (TELME-T only)
The acitvated Side Tone function lets the user listen to his own
voice or external played audio files while transmitting.
To select the Side Tone On/Off, push the "Power" switch down,
press and hold the "▲" and "▼" buttons at the same time and
push the "Power" switch to the top. In the LCD "GRP" is blinking.
After that, press the "Mode" button and select with "▲" or "▼"
