Power Supply

Connect the supplied AC-DC adapter to the DC 5V Jack on the back of the device through the
attached USB cable, and insert the grid plug into a properly installed AC socket.
Caution
•
Only use the supplied power adaptor for this device. Do not use for other devices.
•
Only use the original AC adapter. This adapter has been specially designed for the accompanied
battery in order to gradually charge the battery. Any other adapter may shorten the battery life
or can damage it or the device.
Disconnect from mains power supply during longer periods of non-use.
Charging the battery
The installed battery can be charged by using the accompanied AC-DC adapter that you plug into the wall
socket and the other end into the DC 5V jack, the Power On/Charging indicator will light up in Yellow,
once it is fully charged, the light turns to Green.
Save and recall stations
•
If you have found the desired station, press and hold the PRESET button. "Preset Store" will be
shown in the display and the memory location number "1" in the display will blink.
•
For choosing the PRESETory position, please press </> buttons.
•
Press ENTER button again to save the settings.
Select a preset station
• To select the stored stations, first press the PRESET buttons.
•
Now select the PRESETory location with the </> buttons.
Standby
•
Hold ALARM / SNOOZE for 3 sec. to go to standby.
•
Press any button to turn display backlight on; press any button twice to turn the unit back on.
• To switch the unit off, turn POWER ON/OFF to „OFF".
ECO design: the unit turns to Standby mode automatically if it is not providing the main functions
or inappropriate for the intended use for 15 minutes during any operating mode (except for FM mode).
The LCD backlight will dim after 30 seconds automatically if there is no operation during any operating mode.
Auto Scan
•
Fully extend the telescopic antenna.
•
Rotate the Function Selector to DAB position to enter DAB mode.

For the first time use or if the station list is empty, the radio automatically performs a full
scan to see what stations are available, the display shows the scan progress and the total
channel number during the scanning.
• When the scan progress is completed, it will then set the time and start playing the first station
on the station list it finds.
