The smoke detector is not a toy. Keep and store the device out of reach of
small children
The smoke Alarm may be used and installed by children aged 16 and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed in
the safe use of the device and understand the resulting dangers.
ELECTRONICS
You must not reconstruct, repair or dismantle the Smoke Alarm. This may
damage the device.
Maintenance, modifications and repairs may only be carried out by an
expert or in a qualified shop.
Check the device for damage from time to time. Never use the device if
it shows signs of damage.
If smoke, fire or a strange smell comes out of your device, you should
switch it off immediately by removing the batteries.
HEAT
The Smoke Alarm is designed to work best in normal ambient temperatures of
between 0°C and 40°C and to be stored in temperatures of between 0°C and 45°C.
