- Try to keep the cable runs as short as possible, to
reduce the risk of voltage drop and interference.
- All cables must be installed at least 300 mm away
from other cables carrying radio frequencies or pul-
sed signals.
- The underlying material must be flat and suffi-
ciently strong to withstand the weight of the unit and
protect it from heavy vibrations or shocks.
- Check that there is sufficient room behind the unit
for connectors, so that cables do not need to be
run with sharp bends. Also make sure that there is
sufficient cable to allow the unit to be removed for
service.

Install and connect the Multilink hub
1. Install the Multilink hub (1) using screw (2).
notE! The Multilink hub may be installed using
a screw or a cable tie; figure A shows in-
stallation using screws only.
2. Connect the gauge to the Multilink hub.

Certain conditions apply to Multilink hub con-
nections. Refer to the EVC installation manual

Make sure that the locking mechanism be-
tween the connectors closes with a click. This
guarantees a water-tight, correct closure.
Allow the plugs to remain in unused positions.

- Um das Risiko von Spannungsabfall und Interfe-
renz zu minimieren, sind die Anschlussleitungen
möglichst kurz zu halten.
- Alle Leitungen müssen in einem Abstand von
mind. 300 mm von anderen Leitungen, die Funkfre-
quenzen oder Impulssignale leiten, verlegt werden.
- Der Untergrund muss gerade und ausreichend
stark sein, um das Gewicht des Gerätes zu tragen
und dieses vor kräftigen Vibrationen und Stößen zu
schützen.
- Prüfen, dass hinter dem Gerät genügend Platz für
die Anschlüsse ist, sodass die Leitungen nicht mit
zu scharfen Bögen verlegt werden müssen. Eben-
falls prüfen, dass die Anschlussleitungen genügend
lang sind, sodass das Gerät zur Wartung abgebaut
werden kann.

leistet eine wasserdichte und korrekte Verbin-
dung.

fen belassen.
