Scope of supply
2.1 General description
The flow rate meter is a measuring and control device which is
used to record the volume of water to be drawn for a central do-
mestic hot water heater on the cold water inlet.
This enables the cylinder temperature to be lowered in accord-
ance with DIN 1988-200 during high water exchange to enable
the domestic hot water cylinder to be heated more efficiently with
a heat pump, for example.

2.2 Scope of supply
The following components are included in the scope of supply:
1)
1x electronics module for wall mounting (incl. VFS 5-100
flow sensor and NTC-10 temperature sensor)
2)
1x measuring tube VFS 5 - 100
3)
2x screw connections 1" - 3/4" incl. O-rings
4)
1x reducing sleeve 1" - 3/4"
5)
1x mounting clip for sensors
6)
1 x installation instructions

NOTE
The function of the electric supplementary heater and the DFM 1988 must
be ensured by the system operator through regular checks (see Cap. 4.3
on pag. 9)
