The plus (+) and minus (-) cables can be fixed to the output terminals of the battery with
the supplied M8 washers and bolts. The output terminals of the battery must be covered
by the supplied isolation caps.
The plus (+) and minus (-) cables can also be connected via
quick clamps (not supplied) to the supplied DIN battery terminals.
Tighten the two battery terminals securely (pay attention to
plus (+) and minus (-) polarity!) And ensure a good connection
between the battery, battery terminals and cables.
Please pay attention to the polarity and do not short-circuit the positive
(+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery!
The LI1230 battery may not be connected in series or parallel with any
other battery to get a higher voltage or bigger capacity!
Before using the LI1230 Lithium-ion battery for the first time, it should
be fully charged!
OPERATION – THE CHARGER
Use the supplied EN
charge the battery.
(the battery may be charged by the output terminals <10A 14,6V DC)
With CPU control and pulse width modulation (PWM) technology, the charging current
and output voltage is controlled accurately to ensure a fully-charged battery and avoid
over-charging.
Do not charge the battery at a temperature below 0 degrees Celsius.
The charger will get hot during charging. Make sure that the charger is
used in place with good ventilation and free of dust. Have at least 10cm
space around the charger.
This charger is not designed as power supply.
The charger should not be opened. Any attempt at modification or repair by the user will
entail the loss of your guarantee.
The mains supply cord of this appliance can not be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the
appliance should be discarded.
Charging the battery:
After every use (and before storage) charge the battery immediately.
Check the XLR plug of the charger for damages or loose wires.
Open (slide aside) the cover of the 12V DC input jack of the battery (marked with
"Charge").
Connect the XLR plug of the charger to the 12V DC input jack
of the battery and than connect the charger to the AC power
(100-240V, 50/60Hz).
The LED on the charger will light in red, and the charging
process will start. When the battery is fully charged, the LED
will turn green.
