MOUNTING TO A WOOD CEILING JOIST:
Wood ceiling joists should be 2" x 4", at minimum:
1.5" x3.5" (38 mm x 89mm).
(EN) Ceiling Center Line
1. Using a stud finder, locate the edges of ceiling joist and mark
ceiling joist edges with a pencil as show in the Installation Guide.
2. Center Installation Template over ceiling joist, align
drill points "A" and "B" with pencil marks. Use a level
to ensure the template is straight.
3. Carefully drill holes through points "A" and "B" using
the proper drill bit.
