Changing the tilling width
WARNING:
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
battery cartridge is removed before carrying out
any work on the tool. Failure to switch off and remove
the battery cartridge may result in serious personal
injury from accidental start-up.
• Do not forget to lock the outer blade by lock pin and
snap pin when you attach it. (Fig. 22 & 23)
The blade can be separated in accordance with the width
for cultivation. To cultivate narrow area, you can remove
both outer side blades. To remove the outer right side
blade, pull out the lock pin and snap pin on the right side
which locks the outer blade, then remove the outer blade
slowly. Mount the lock pin and snap pin on the inner blade
in the original position. Take this procedure for the outer
left side blade. To attach the outer blades, follow the
installation procedure in reverse.
Transporting the tool
WARNING:
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
battery cartridge is removed before carrying out
any work on the tool. Failure to switch off and remove
the battery cartridge may result in serious personal
injury from accidental start-up.
• To avoid the tool becoming unstable and lose balance,
make sure that the drag bar stays on the ground when
you change the position of the transport wheel.
• When you pull down transport wheel, make sure the
tool keeps balance, or the tool may fall down and
cause injuries.
• Be careful not to have your thumb and fingers pinched
or sustain a bruise due to an impact by the spring-
loaded transport wheel when changing the transport
wheel position. (Fig. 24)
The transport wheel is used when you transport the tool.
The position of the wheel can be changed easily by hand.
Pull down the transport wheel, place the drag bar at
transport position.
Push down the handle and lift up the blade, then transport
the tool.
NOTE:
You can place the drag bar up side down if you feel
difficulties to transport the tool.
Storing the tool
WARNING:
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
battery cartridge is removed before carrying out
any work on the tool. Failure to switch off and remove
the battery cartridge may result in serious personal
injury from accidental start-up.
The handle can be folded for easy carrying and storing.
CAUTION:
• Always perform on the flat floor to avoid accidents.
• Always be sure that the transport wheel is in the
transporting position before you bend the handle.
• Always hold the handle while loosening the handle
locking knob, or the handle may fall on person and
cause injuries.
