• Do not forcibly rotate the blade, or hit it with a hammer,
the tool may be damaged.
If there is a obstacle stuck on the blade, remove it
carefully.
Turn on the main switch, and check the red light is off.
Power switch action
WARNING:
• Before inserting the battery cartridge in the tool,
always check to see that the switch lever actuates
properly and returns to the original position when
released. Operating a tool with a switch that does not
actuate properly can lead to loss of control and serious
personal injury.
NOTE:
• The motor does not start if the motor is overloaded. In
that case, change the depth of cultivation much
shallower.
• The tool does not start without pressing the lock-off
button even if the switch lever is pulled.
This tool equips the lock key to prevent children from
accidentally starting up the tool. The lock key locates
under the battery hood. Insert the lock key before you
switch on the tool. The tool does not start up when the
lock key is pulled out. (Fig. 13 & 14)
To switch on the tool, press the main switch. One of the
indication lamp lights up when you switch on the tool. To
switch off the tool, press the main switch again.
To prevent the tool from unintentional starting, a lock-off
button is provided. To start the blades' rotating, depress
the lock-off button and then pull the switch lever. Release
the switch lever to stop.
Drag bar (Fig. 15)
The drag bar adjust the depth of the cultivation. The drag
bar also prevents sudden uncontrollable move of the tool.
You can change the depth of the cultivation by changing
the position of the drag bar. (Fig. 16)
CAUTION:
• Always be sure that the transport wheel is in the
transporting position before you adjust the drag bar.
1. Remove the stopper which holds the drag bar.
2. Adjust the position of the drag bar, then hold the
position with the stopper.

NOTE:
• If the field is solid and the tool advances too fast, set
the drag bar at the deep cultivation position - A. If the
field is soft and the blade sinks in the field, set the drag
bar at the shallow cultivation position - C.
• When you transport the tool, place the drag bar at
transport position - D.

spring over the handle locking knob and firmly screw them
into the handle piercing it through one of the three handle-
retaining-shaft holes. At this time, put the corn spring over
the handle locking knob so that the swollen surface of the
corn spring faces the handle locking knob. Make sure that
the handle is secured after assembling it.
You can adjust the angle of the handle from three angles.
Hold the handle by one hand, and then turn and remove
the handle locking knob. Choose the favorable angle from
one of the three holes, and return the handle locking knob
and tighten it firmly.
Always be sure that the handle locking knob is tightened
firmly, or the handle may fall on you and cause injuries.
