Step 4: Using a phillips screwdriver, mount the "Y" cord to the back of the
center handle. A threaded hole is provided.
Step 5: To install the wire safety guard, insert one side of the guard between
the frame and lens. Squeeze the guard until the other side can be
placed between the opposite side of the frame and lens.
Use as a stand light
Step 1: Unlock legs first by pulling each leg out
approximately 1˝, then loosen the knob at the
top of the leg assembly and pulls legs out,
extending to full open position so that the top
black bracket slides down until it is lined up with
the red line on the center pole label (Fig. 3).
Retighten knob.
Step 2: Attach portable fixture to the vertical pole by
placing the Quick-release ™ collar over the top
of the tube. Tighten the knob on the collar until
the screw is secure (Fig. 4).
Step 3: Plug light into a GFCI protected 120 volt receptacle.
Step 4: To turn light ON or OFF, push red switch on the
back of each fixture.
Step 5: Adjust the tripod stand to the desired height by loosening and
tightening the locking collars on the pole.
Step 6: On uneven terrain, position the extendable leg toward the lowest point
on the surface. Extend the leg by loosening the locking collar, pulling
the leg out, and tightening the collar.
Note: Legs must be secured with sand bags or other suitable weight:
• When used on uneven or rocky surfaces.
• When used in windy areas.
• Anytime extra stability is required.
Use as a portable light
Step 1: If using as a stand light, remove the portable fixture from vertical
pole by turning the Quick-release ™ knob counterclockwise until
loose. Lift portable unit from pole.
Step 2: Use the light fixtures by setting the built-in stand on any flat surface.
Step 3: For maximum safety, portable light fixtures should always be
plugged into a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected,
120 volt circuit.
Step 4: To turn light ON or OFF, push red switch on the back of each fixture.
Bonus bulb included
This fixture includes a spare bulb, which insures that you can
always finish your job or project without interruption due to bulb fail-
ure. The spare bulb and holder are located in the center handle of
the portable fixture (Fig. 5).
