at elevated positions.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE WEARING YOUR SAFETY
HARNESS AND YOUR HARNESSS IS CONNECTED
TO THE TREE AT ALL TIMES AFTER LEAVING THE
GROUND UNTIL YOU RETURN TO THE GROUND.
Single safety belts and chest harnesses are no
longer allowed and are NOT to be used.
WARNING
If you are not wearing a Full Body Harness properly
attached to the tree that is protecting you from a
fall, DO NOT leave the ground.
DO NOT jump, bounce, hop or rock back and forth
on the treestand. DO NOT lean out or against the
treestand. Always try to stay centered on
the platform.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in
serious injury or death.
• Before each use, make sure all nuts, bolts, pins and straps are secure.
• Use a treestand ONLY for its intended purpose of allowing a hunter to
climb and hunt from an elevated position. DO NOT use a treestand for
any other purpose.
• Never exceed the maximum weight limit of the treestand.
Model 47027 and Model 47030, maximum weight limit is 300 lbs.
• DO NOT install or use product without adult supervision if you are under
the age of 18.
• Always inform someone about the hunting location, where the treestand
will be located, and the expected duration of the hunt.
• Always have a second adult present or at least accessible by cell phone
or other means when using a treestand. The ability to get help quickly
may save your life in the event of a fall.
• Always take and use a signal device (cell phone, radio, whistle, signal
flare or personal locating device (PLD)) when using this product. Always
keep the signal device on you and readily available at all times.
• A good non-slip boot is important for your safety. Be especially careful
that bootlaces do not get hooked on the treestand or climbing aids
(tuck shoelaces into boot before climbing).
• Never use a treestand during inclement weather such as rain, lightning,
windstorms or icy conditions. End your hunt and return to the ground if
inclement conditions arise.
• Never use a treestand while taking drugs (even prescription drugs)
or alcohol.
• Never use this product when feeling ill, nauseous, dizzy or if you have a
