Before first Use
Remove the packaging material from the outdoor socket and check the
unit for damage in transit.
Do not leave packaging materials in the range of children, they may
become dangerous toys.
Operating
 Use the outdoor socket only vertically. The outdoor
socket can be mounted on a suitable surface with the
included mounting materials. Lift up one of the four
spring-loaded protection caps and insert the plug of
the consumer into the desired socket.
 When connecting an angle socket, it might be difficult
to plug in. If possible, use the upper sockets of the
unit.
 Make sure to run the power cords through the bottom
openings of the outdoor socket, so the door cover
can be closed correctly.
Cleaning
 The outdoor socket is splash-proof (IP44) and suitable for outdoor
use. Do not clean the outdoor socket with a high pressure washer,
garden sprayer or other devices that produces water jets. If you use
such devices close to the outdoor socket, cover the unit sufficiently
during work. Although a standard sprinkler should not cause any
problems.
 Clean the outdoor socket with a moistened cloth.
 Avoid cleaning the outdoor socket with aggressive abrasives or
chemicals in order not to damage the surface.
 Keep the interior of the outdoor socket clean at all times.
