IPA MANAGER SOFTWARE
The IPA MANAGER software allows you to configure and control signal extension, routing, and switching
between HDMI-IP1800-TX and HDMI-IP1800-RX.
This software does not directly communicate with or control HDMI-IP1800-TX and HDMI-IP1800-RX
devices. Instead, it communicates through a separate process. The Control Server functions as a proxy
between IPA MANAGER clients; and HDMI-IP1800 (TX/RX) endpoints on the network.
It can be used on any Windows PC using the Microsoft .Net framework 4.0 or a later version of Windows.
The PC running the Control Center can be connected to the ETHERNET port of any device or to any RJ45
port on the 10 GbE switch (except for the management/console port on the switch that is not part of the
network).

OPERATION OF THE GUI CONTROL
The web-based GUI is used to configure and control signal extension, routing and switching between TX and
RX units.
Before continuing with the GUI, make sure that all IPA units are turned on. Then, make sure the IP addresses
of the PC and all IPA units are in the same local area network (LAN). If this is not the case, set the IP address
mode as DHCP manually.
Enter the IP address of the control PC in the Internet browser and you will be taken to the next login web page:
User name: admin
Password: admin
Enter your username and password and then click LOGIN.
Before starting GUI control, make sure the control PC is connected directly to the network switch or Gigabit
Ethernet port on one of the devices (TX or RX).
After launch, the main window will open in the VIDEO SWITCHING tab which will all the TX and RX devices
on the network.
The first step is to connect to the server. Enter the IP address and click CONNECT.
The default settings of the server are:
IP: 127.0.0.1
Port: 6970
All connected devices on the network will appear as blue tiles within the GUI window.
