3. ASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 - BOTTOM SUPPORTS
ASSEMBLY (FIG. B)
1. Insert the supports fittings (1) in the
corresponding slots;
2.Insert and tighten the fixing screws;
3.2 - SET SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
(GUN + LANCE) (FIG. C)
1. Insert the support's fitting (4) in the
corresponding slot;
2. Insert and tighten the fixing screws;
3.3 - HIGH PRESSURE HOSE
ASSEMBLY (FIG. D)
1. Insert the hose connecting accessory
(15) in the gun connecting thread (5).
Tighten the tightening accessory;
Check regularly the hose and replace it
if necessary. Do not attempt to repair it.
3.4 - GUN + LANCE SET
ASSEMBLY (FIG. E)
Two lances are provided with
the machine, a regular and a
turbo lance.
1. Tighten the lance/turbo lance fixing
thread (17/18) in the gun (7);
2. Hold the lance and tighten the
lance/accessories adapter tightening
accessory (16) clockwise;
3.5 - WATER INLET FILTER
ASSEMBLY (FIG. F)
1. Tighten the filter (14) in the machine's
water inlet thread;
Never operate the machine
without the water inlet filter. The
filter should always be installed to filter
out sand and other impurities that could
cause damage to the pump valves.
3.6 - CONNECTION TO THE
WATER SYSTEM (FIG. G)
1. Connect the water supply hose to a
tap;
2. Open the tap to remove any residues
that may be inside the hose. When
clean water starts running out, close
the tap;
3. In the other extremity of the hose,
install the quick connector;
4. Remove the cover in the water inlet;
5. Tighten the water inlet filter (14) in
the water inlet;
6. Fit the supply hose quick connector
in the water inlet filter;
The water supply should preferably be
carried out through a hose connected
to the tap of the water supply system.
It is recommended a garden hose
with ½ "diameter and with a minimum
length of 5 m.
If you want use water from
wells, tanks or other type of
water containers, you must install an
additional filter (dust filter) in the
suction to prevent the entry of sand or
other type of waste.
In any of these situations, make
sure that the inlet water pressure
is less than 7 bar.
3.7 - ACCESSORY ADAPTER
ASSEMBLY (FIG. H)
This machine is ready to be
used with many accessories.
You can obtain information about all
optional accessories from your VITO
official dealer.
Accessories adapters are provided
with the machine, allowing any optional
accessory to be attached to the gun.
1. Tighten the accessories adapter
thread (21) in the gun (7);
2. Hold the accessories adapter and
tighten the lance/accessories adapter
tightening accessory (19) clockwise;
4. OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
When using the pressure washer, care
must be taken in order to avoid any
accidents:
� While operating, place the machine
in a stable surface and away from the
cleaning area;
� Do not use the power cable or
pressure hose to transport the machine;
� Never operate the machine by using
repeated and quick movements of
pressing /releasing the gun trigger. This
may result in component and pressure
connections failures;
� Do not operate the machine on empty
(no water), as it will damage the pump
seals. Always turn the water on before
starting the machine;
� To prevent accidental discharge of
high pressure water, the trigger safety
lock must be engaged whenever the
machine is not in use;
� When the machine is under pressure
and the trigger is pressed, the release
of pressure may cause gun recoil.
Adopt a stable and firm posture. Hold
the gun firmly with both hands to
prevent accidents;
� Do not use the machine with other
people
nearby
without
equipment;
� Never point the water jet towards
people, animals, other machines and
electrical systems;
� Do not put you hand, fingers or body
in front of the sprinkler nozzle. The jet
may hurt you;
