To reduce the risk of accidents (slippage or possible falls), DO NOT use
the scale with wet feet or if there is water on the glass base, do not stand
too close to the edges.
If the appliance has been dropped or if it does not work properly, refrain
from using it and do not attempt to disassemble or repair it. Contact your
nearest MX ONDA Technical Service Center or distributor.
PREPARATION
This device uses two batteries of 1.5 V type AAA, for the placement or
replacement of the same follow the following steps:
1. Remove the battery compartment lidlocated at the base of the scale.
2. Insert two 1.5 V AAA batteries, respecting the indicated polarity.
3. Replace the battery compartment lid.
With the scale on, press the selector button of the weight unit located at the
base of the scale, each time you press this button you will change the unit
of weight Kg (kilograms), Lb (pounds) or (St) Stones.
HOW TO USE
Gently climb the scale (for maximum precision, do not move until the
screen shows a stable reading), the scale will automatically turn on and
start reading the weight.
The scale will turn off automatically after a few seconds, thus prolonging
the life of the batteries.
When the weight limit of the scale is exceeded, the display will show the
EEEE
"
" overload indication.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
When the display shows the digits "
indicate that the batteries are exhausted and need to be replaced.
Do not try to disassemble the batteries, do not short and never heat them
or throw them into the fire. Do not mix new batteries with used batteries.
If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long period of time, remove
the batteries and store them in a cool place.
Batteries contain pollutants from the environment, so, once the life of them
is exhausted, DO NOT throw them away, put them in the right place for
later recycling.
Clean the scale with a soft cloth moistened with water or a mild detergent.
DO NOT use abrasive chemicals to clean it.
Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperature and humidity, direct
sunlight, water or dust.
