STEP 4: FILL THE ENGINE CRANKCASE
NOTE: The engine comes without oil. Oil must be added before starting the engine.
1.
Add the oil. Do not overfill. Use clean oils and high quality detergent. Do not mix oil with gasoline. The oil level
must be full. Check the oil level by removing the filler cap.
2.
Always check the oil level before starting the engine. Refer to the "technical characteristics" section for the
capacity and type of oil to be used.
STEP 5: FILL THE TRANSMISSION HOUSING.
1.
Add oil through the top opening making sure the amount is as specified in the manual. Use clean oils
and high quality detergent. Do not mix oil with gasoline. The oil level has to be full. Check the oil level by
removing the filler cap and observing that the transmission oil covers the inner metal gear.
2.
Always check the oil level before starting the engine. Refer to the "technical characteristics" section for the
capacity and type of oil to be used.
