Palma Twin Operating Instructions
4.5 Using the Palma Twin - Digital in heating mode (1 kW, 2 kW) with Thermo 2
It is also possible to operate the Palma Twin in combination with a Thermo 2 (Palma Twin - Digital). The
combination of Palma Twin and Thermo 2 has the advantage that the temperature no longer has to be
determined via an external thermostat, but can be set directly with the help of the Thermo 2. The exact
settings of the Thermo 2 can be found in the operating instructions of the "Thermo 2".
Use the right-hand selection switch on the Palma Twin fan heater to choose whether you want to heat in 1 kW
or 2 kW heating mode and set the left-hand thermostat switch on the Palma Twin to the maximum setting. The
room temperature is now controlled by the "Thermo 2" digital thermostat and the Palma Twin - Digital heater is
switched on as soon as the temperature falls below the set level. As soon as the temperature is then reached
again after heating, the fan heater switches off again, the circulating air is thus also switched off.
Tip: If you keep valuable plants in the greenhouse over the winter, it is advisable to install a second heat
source that activates in case this fan heater fails (e.g. due to a power cut). This will protect your plants
from freezing.
Example:
You want to achieve a temperature of 21°C in a
room. Then take a Palma Twin + a Thermo 2
and set the temperature at 21°C for the Thermo
2. The Palma Twin now switches on
automatically when the temperature drops below
21°C and runs until the 21°C is reached again.
