3.2 For 5 kV maximum: Thoroughly scrape all wax
and dirt 5" back from each cable end. Prepare cable
ends exactly as shown. Do not cut insulation while
removing outer sheath. See Table A for proper sizing
and dimensions.

4.0 Installation
4.1 Install End Caps. Trim conical ends of end caps at
proper guide marks to provide a firm sliding fit on cable
sheath. Slip end caps onto each cable.
4.2 Install Mold Body. Slip mold body onto one cable end.
5.0 Connection
5.1 Join conductors with compression-type connectors.
Follow connector manufacturer's instructions.
5.2 Multi-conductor Cables. Stagger individual connectors
(provide lateral spacing of 1/2" between ends of
connectors) and insulate connector with Scotch™ 23
Electrical Tape. For 600 volts or less, use 3M™
Scotchlok™ Insulated Butt Connectors.
Note: Connectors not provided with kit.
