7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
ALWAYS unplug power cord before maintenan-
ce.
EQUIPMENT CLEANING:
Clean the surface of the appliance with a soft,
damp cloth. Do not allow water to fall inside the
machine.
Please note that the surface should not be poli-
shed with sandpaper, waxed, cleaned with gasoli-
ne, acid, alkali, benzene and other organic
solvents to avoid discoloration and deterioration.
CLEANING THE WATER TANK:
Open the tank and empty the water. Clean it with
a soft brush or sponge and detergent. In order to
remove the tank completely, it is necessary to
release the water pump as shown in the photo-
graph:
Turn the latch clockwise to open, then pull the
pump in the indicated direction.
Caution: Be sure to frequently clean and disinfect
the reservoir to prevent the possible build-up of
bacteria or viruses in the reservoir.
CLEANING THE FILTER AND PRE-FILTER:
Remove the pre filter and then remove the
cooling filter.
Clean them with water and a soft brush to
remove dirt. If necessary you can also use a mild
detergent to clean them.
