General
OEK 20-160 is an accessory that enables F730 to oper-
ate with both exhaust air and outdoor air. This gives
higher heat output than operation using just exhaust
air. There is the option of retrieving pre-heated outdoor
air from an attic or conservatory, for example.
At outdoor temperatures below "min. outdoor air
temperature", the outdoor air flow is closed by an
outdoor air damper and the heat pump operates with
just the exhaust air.
To keep the indoor temperature down at outdoor air
temperatures above "high outdoor temperature" the
outdoor air damper opens and the heat pump operates
with outdoor air, as well as reduced exhaust air.

Ventilation connections

General ventilation connection
Connections must be made via flexible hoses, which
must be installed so that they are easy to replace. The
extract air and outdoor air ducts have to be insulated
using diffusion-proof material (PE30) along their entire
lengths.
Outdoor air operation
NOTE
The outdoor air temperature is occasionally
very low. To avoid damaging F730 and
OEK 20-160 and/or the house, it is therefore
important that the damper section, motor
shelf and outdoor air duct are insulated with
diffusion-proof material. The outdoor air duct
must be insulated over its entire length.
TIP
Install the dampers etc. in such a way that
they are easily accessible for any service work.
