INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Description
The pump works with compressed air, therefore it is necessary to connect it to a system operating
with a pressure of between 4 and 8 bar. All components have been treated and protected against
corrosion.
The pump consists of three main components:
• Pneumatic motor
• Pumping system
• Outlet valve
• Ring nut
Uses
Pneumatic pumps must only be used for the draining, the transfer or the delivery of lubricating oil,
including waste or liquid oil, of the engine cooling circuit.

General recommendations

• Please read this handbook before using the pump.
• Do not use or pump different substances other than those mentioned in the section "uses".
• Once the compressed air has been connected, the delivery gun P can be started only when it is
sure that the oil flow is directed towards a suitable container.
• Warning: Do not direct the jet towards people or objects, directing the jet against live electrical
control panels or electrical components could cause electrocution.
• Always put away the delivery gun P properly so that it cannot be started accidentally.
• Always switch off the compressed air feed after use. In the case of breakage of components or
pipes, oil could be discharged into the environment .
• To avoid compromising the safety of the user and the validity of the guarantee do not modify
any component of the pneumatic pump.
• Repairs must be carried out using original parts only. For safety reasons the user must only
carry out routine maintenance (filter and silencer replacement or cleaning,); it is necessary
to consult an approved assistance centre for repairs or replacement of components.
• In the case of scrapping, the appliance must be carefully emptied of the oil. (See disposal
section)
Application of the pump to the oil drum
To apply pump to the drum it is necessary to use the appropriate ring nut G (thread 2" BSP gas)
and follow the instructions:
• Screw ring nut G to the drum.
• Unscrew the upper part of ring nut G1 until the inside conic insert G2 opens up enough to
insert the pumping system stem.
• Insert the pumping system stem in the ring nut G.
• If a filter or a bottom fitting is not applied to the pump, a space of about 15 mm must be left
between the bottom of the drum and the draining hole.
• Screw the upper part of the ring nut G1 back on until pump is secured.
A - Transmits motion
D - Compresses grease
R - Keeps pipe under pressure
