Quick Installation Guide
Method 2: Enter the Static IP values if you already have an IP address set up before.
1.
Open HomeFree Setup Tool and click
Network Config. tab.
2.
Check Static IP.
3.
Enter the values of your IP address as shown
in the illustration below* and click Apply to
confirm.
IP : 192 · 168 · 1 · 32
Netmask : 255 · 255 · 255 · 0
Gateway : 192 · 168 · 1 · 1
(Please note the values may vary depending on your
network environment.)
*If you are setting up the second AVerMedia HomeFree
Combo, enter the IP values of the second device as
192 · 168 · 1 · 31
4.
Go to Windows Start Control Panel
Network Connections Local Area
Connection.
5.
Double-click on the Local Area Connection
icon
(the main network connection you
are using).
6.
Select Properties.
7.
Double-click on the Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP).
8.
Select Use the following IP address, enter
the values below* and click OK to confirm.
IP address : 192 · 168 · 1 · 33
Subnet mask : 255 · 255 · 255 · 0
Default gateway : 192 · 168 · 1 · 1
