BC 300 Digital Bath Thermometer
Product Introduction
The product has been designed to help you ensure that your bathwater is
at a safer and more comfortable temperature for your child. The
thermometer works by measuring the bathwater temperature every
second, and displays the current temperature in degree Celsius on the
center of the LCD screen. The LCD also provides a color-coded backlight
based on the measured water temperature. The colors are orange if the
water temperature is too cold, green if the water temperature is just
right, and red if the water temperature is too hot.
Warnings
Æ
Do not rely on this product as your primary and only means of checking
and testing the bathwater temperature.
Æ
Always submerge your hand and forearm into the bathwater before
placing your child in the bathwater.
Æ
Never leave your child unsupervised.
Æ
Always keep bathroom floors dry and clear of toys and other objects.
Æ
Be sure to remove all packaging from the thermometer before use and/or
before giving it to your child.
Product Features
Æ
The thermometer is able to measure bathwater temperatures between
1-100°C. Do not expose this product to extreme temperatures, it's
recommended to put on the water temperature not beyond 60°C.
Æ
The thermometer is fully submersible and floats naturally.
Æ
The thermometer instantly activates in bathwater. Note, the thermometer
is sensitive to moisture and may remain powered on even when removed
from the bathwater. It is recommend that the thermometer is thoroughly
dried after use. This will prolong battery life.
Æ
The thermometer runs on 3 AAA batteries (included and preinstalled).
l
Note: It is recommended that the batteries are removed if the product will
be stored for a long period of time.
Operating Instructions
1)
The thermometer automatically turns on when placed in water. There is
no On/Off button. When activated, the thermometer provides a digital
display of the bathwater temperature in degree Celsius on its LCD
screen. The LCD screen also lights up in 1 of 3 colours depending on
whether the water temperature is too cold, just right, or too hot.
2)
The LCD screen illuminates in Orange if the bathwater temperature is
less than 35°C. With this, the thermometer is indicating that the
bathwater temperature is Too Cold. See Fig. 1.
The LCD screen illuminates in Green if the bathwater temperature
3)
ranges from 35°C to 39°C (includes both). With this, the thermometer is
indicating that the bathwater temperature is Just Right. See Fig. 2.
4)
The LCD screen illuminates in Red if the bathwater temperature is
greater than 39°C. With this, the thermometer is indicating that the
bathwater temperature is Too Hot. See Fig. 3.
5)
Please do not subject the thermometer to extreme temperatures. If the
thermometer's LCD screen displays HH°C, this indicates the water
temperature is extremely hot. If the LCD screen displays LL°C , this
indicates the water temperature is extremely cold.
6)
After use, please remove the thermometer from the bathwater and be
sure to dry it completely. Be sure to thoroughly dry the 3 rounded water
sensors located on the underside of the thermometer. Drying the
thermometer's sensors will ensure that the LCD turns off, thereby
prolonging battery life.
7)
When the LCD brightness begins to fade, the batteries are low on charge.
Please replace the batteries with new ones.
