• Immediately disconnect all equipment in the aquarium from the mains supply following a water
leak or the tripping of the residual current protection device.
• Always disconnect all equipment in the aquarium from the mains supply when it is not in use,
before you install and / or remove equipment and before all cleaning and maintenance work.
• The device must not be placed on or inside the aquarium cover.
• The electrical data of the device must correspond to the data of the power supply. This data can be
found on the rating plate, on the packaging or in these instructions.
4. Installation
The device is operated in connection with EHEIM powerLED+ lamps and EHEIM
powersupply power supplies. Refer to the operating manual of the lamp, in particu-
lar the chapter about safety, startup, service and maintenance!

Do not place the device on or in the aquarium cover!

5. Start-up
5.1 Setting up or connecting to a network
Connect the plug connectors of the EHEIM power supply b and the powerLED+ lamp c with
the LEDcontrol+e a.
When using an EHEIM 2-way switch d Article-number 4200050, multiple powerLED+ can be ope-
rated.
Not included in the scope of delivery! The maximum load of the power supply must be ob-
served (see type plate of the EHEIM power supply of the lamp)
Insert the plug of the EHEIM power supply in the power socket.
The statusLED e of the LEDcontrol+e glows:
• Status LED flashes white: Network is being searched or created.
• Status LED flashes blue: A new network has been created.
5.2 Connection to the Wi-Fi network
Open the network settings of your end device (smartphone, tablet, notebook etc.). Connect
the end device to the Wi-Fi network (SSID) EHEIM light XXXXXXXXX Enter the network se-
curity key.
You will find the SSID and the network security key on the label on the back of the device. Al-
ternatively, you can scan the QR code 1 (see label) to set up the connection.
5.3 Go to the website
