    2.2 Funktionsweise Der Repater RP-1 dient zur Erweiterung der Funkreichweite und zur Übertra- gung des Sprachverkehrs von einer xepton-Kanalgruppe in eine andere. Das Gerät besitzt zwei Bedienungs-und Anzeigeeinheiten A und B. Diese werden einer jeweils unterschiedlichen Kanalgruppe zugeordnet, die Übertragung des Funkverkehrs findet zwischen den beiden Einheiten intern statt.

    3.3 ID-Auswahl Bei Voll-Duplex-Anwendungen zwischen den Einheiten A und B des Repeaters müssen beide als MASTER gesetzt sein. Werden weitere xepton TRX-1 trans- ceiver verwendet, so muss bei diesen Geräten die ID ungleich „00“ eingestellt werden, da innerhalb einer Kanalgruppe nur ein Master-Gerät vorhanden sein darf.
  • Page 6 3.5 Monitorfunktion Ein / Aus Die Monitorfunktion ermöglicht es dem Anwender, seine eigene Stimme über das System zu hören. Von der Lautstärke-Einstellung kann der Grundpegel der Lautstärke erhöht werden. Gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor, um die Monitorfunk- tion zu aktivieren: Halten Sie bei eingeschaltetem Gerät die MODE-Taste über 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt.

    3.7 Grundpegel Hoch / Niedrig Unabhängig von der Lautstärke-Einstellung kann der Grundpegel der Laut- stärke erhöht werden. Dies führt zu einer allgemein lauteren Audio-Wieder- gabe innerhalb der Lautstärke-Stufen - dies kann zum Beispiel bei lautstarker Umgebung notwendig sein.     4. Anwendungsbeispiele 4.1 Erweiterung der Funkreichweite, Voll-Duplex Der Repeater befindet sich jeweils am Rand des Empfangsbereiches der Funkgruppen A und B. Durch die Übermittlung des Sprachverkehrs zwischen den Funkgruppen entsteht eine Reichweitenerhöhung. Einstellungen: A und B des Repeaters sind MASTER.     2.2 Basic function method The repeater RP-1 serves to increase the transmission range and also to sup- ply one xepton channel group with the transmission of a different xepton chan- nel group. The device features two control- and display units A and B. These are assigned to a different channel group respectively, the transmission between the two units is internal.

    3.3 ID selection For full two-way applications between units A and B, both units must be set as MASTER. Units are defined as MASTER by setting their ID to »00«. If further xepton TRX-1 transceivers are to be included within the according group, each TRX-1 needs to have its ID set to any number but »00«, as there only can be one master unit within a channel group.

    4. Application examples 4.1 Expanding transmission range, two-way communication The repeater is located at the ends of the transmission ranges of both channel groups A and B. By unifiying the communication traffic between both channel groups, the transmission range is expanded over both groups. Settings: A and B of the repeater are set as MASTER.

Ejemplos de aplicación 4.1 Aumentar el alcance de transmisión, comunicación bi- direccional El repetidor está situado en los extremos de los alcances de transmisión de los dos grupos de canales A y B. Al unificar el tráfico de comunicaciones de ambos grupos de canales, el alcance de transmisión se amplía abarcando los dos grupos.
