REpLACEMENT oF ThE FIxEd oR AdjUSTABLE CENTRAL poINT
NB: Abies has a standard central point of 35cm. It can be replaced by:

Ref: 1016213 lg: Central point 40cm
Ref: 1016214 lg: Central point adjustable, length 0,90m
1 The fixed central point
1.1 To dismantle the central point: use an Alen key n°4 and a pair of pliers to unscrew the 2 shackles.
1.2 Put the new central point in one of the shackles; put 2 drops of LOCTITE frein filet n°222 on the thread of the
axle.
1.3 Screw on until the contact and tighten a half-turn.
1.4 Let dry during 15 min before handling and during 45 min before bringing into service.
1.5 Repeat the operations 2, 3, and 4 for the other side.
2 The adjustable central point
1.1 Connect the adjustable central point to the shackle on the right or on the left, on the side of the sewed buckle
(Fig 9-C). Refer to steps 1.1 to 1.5.
1.2 On the opposite side, connect the sewed buckle and the Ropman to the other shackle. (Fig 9-D)
Refer to steps 1.1 to 1.5.
Respect specific instructions of the Ropman, check its direction of locking and the good
connection of the two sewed buckles.
