OPERATION - USING THE SMART THERMOMETER

NOTE: Your Smart Thermometer has two modes of operation. 1) Using the
transmitter and receiver only, and 2) Using the transmitter with the connect-
ed app on your cellphone. These two modes operate independently and
cannot be used together.
NOTE: A small phillips screwdriver will be needed to remove the battery
compartment doors.
1. Remove the battery compartment doors and insert batteries, observing
correct polarity.
2. Take care not to lose the screws. Replace battery compartment doors.
OPERATION - USING THE CHAR-BROIL™ APP
Using the Char-Broil™ App
The Char-Broil™ Smart Thermometer uses an app on your smart device to
control, monitor and receive doneness - alerts of your grill status.
1.
Download the Char-Broil™ App
• The first step will be logging onto the App Store (Apple® product) or
Google Play™ (Android™ product) and download the Char-Broil™
Smart Thermometer app to your device.
2.
Connect the Char-Broil™ App
• Open app and connect the app with your Smart Thermometer Trans-
mitter. You need to activate Bluetooth on your mobile device.
• Once you are connected, you will be able to control your cook.
3.
Use the Char-Broil™ App
• The app will guide you through the rest of the process.
