clean the cookinG Surface durinG uSe
avoid using sugar, or liquids with sugar, when grilling. if sugar is needed, place the food on a
sheet of aluminum foil. note: if sugar residue should get on the cooking surface, remove it
with the scraper while the grill is hot. do not wait for it to cool, because burnt sugar may
be difficult to remove when set.
use the scraper provided with your grill to remove anything that sticks
(sugar, syrup, tomato products, milk, etc.).
clean the cookinG Surface after each uSe
use the scraper provided with your grill to remove any residue that sticks.
Scrape the ceramic glass while it is still warm to remove any cooking residue.
if there are hard-to-remove pieces of food, wet the food with a sponge.
heat the grill at the maximum power for a few minutes to allow the
steam to soften the food, then scrape and wipe as usual.
clean the surface with a mild detergent. rinse and dry.
to polish the cooking surface, use a paper towel and a product designed for use
on cooktop surfaces (e.g., ceramic glass cleaner/polish). to polish the grill body,
use a product approved for stainless steel kitchen sinks.
