Materials that you can use in a microwave oven
Utensils
Notes
Aluminium foil Only for protection� Small pieces can be
used to cover small bits of meat or poultry to
prevent them from overcooking� Sparks may
be produced if the foil is placed too close to
the walls� The foil must be placed at least
2�5cm (1 inch) from the internal walls of the
oven�
Gratin dish
Follow the manufacturer's instructions� The
bottom of the dish must be positioned at
least 5 mm above the turntable� Incorrect use
may lead to the turntable breaking�
Crockery
Exclusively those that are microwave
compatible� Follow the manufacturer's
instructions� Do not use cracked or chipped

Glass jugs
Always remove the lid� Use them only to
reheat food at low temperatures� Most glass
jugs are not resistant to high temperatures
and may break�
Glass containers Only thermo-resistant glass utensils
designed to be used in ovens� Check that they
do not have any metal decoration� Do not use
cracked or chipped containers�
