OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Insert the desired attachment into the housing
(1) until it clicks into position. Make sure the
attachment is fixed so that it does not fall out of
the appliance.
2. Select the desired dryer mode by setting the
operating mode switch (2) into the appropriate
position (modes 1, 2 or C).
3. Start drying and styling the hair.
4. For added convenience the dryer and power cord (8) can be
rotated by 360°, so preventing it from twisting.
5. Use the special button (7) for convenient release of long hair during
the styling procedure with round brush (5). Push the button (7)
and pull the dryer from roots of the hairs: the attachment will start
rotating and the curls will be easily released.
6. To remove attachments (4, 5, 6) from the housing (1), simply
disengage them by pulling in the opposite directions.
Purpose and use of attachments
Styling brush (4) permits you to straighten the hair and to slightly
curl the ends. To do this, switch on the warm airflow mode 1 and
carefully comb damp hairs from their roots to the very ends while
slightly curling them.
The brush (4) is also intended for drying the hair. Use mode 1 for
mild drying, and mode 2 for rapid and intensive drying.
The round brush (5) serves for curling medium length hair. Put a
damp thin strand of hair onto the brush (5) and dry it using the hot
airflow mode 2. Then switch on the cold airflow mode C for several
seconds to fix the curl. Release the strand by pushing the special
button (7) (see section "Operating instructions").
The volumizing attachment (6) is used for giving volume at the
roots of short and medium length hair and for creating casual waves
on medium length and long hair (only HAS-455).
To give volume at the roots of short hair, lift a damp strand with the
help of the attachment (6) and dry it using the warm airflow mode
1 (do not need this here!in order to minimize traumatizing the
head's skin (figure B). Then fix the style by using the cold airflow
mode C for several seconds.
To make curls or waves in medium length and long straight hair,
take up a damp strand of hair with the attachment (6) and curl it
casually (figure C). Dry the strand using warm or hot airflow
modes (mode 1 or 2). Then fix the style using the cold airflow
mode C. Remove the strand from the attachment (6) without
uncurling the curl.
If you wish to make more shaped curls, fix every curl with hair
spray without combing the hair. In order to make soft waves, comb
the dry hair after styling.
