Connect the power cord to a houshold mains socket deploying 230 V ~50 Hz. As soon the connection
is established, the time display lights up.
•
Always disconnect from the mains socket, when the device is not used for a longer while.
Backup batteries:
To allow the time to be displayed during a power cut or when the device is disconnected from the mains
socket, please insert two type AAA batteries into the battery compartment on the bottom of the device. The
device will automatically switch to battery power when a power cut is detected. Please mind the correct
polarity as indicated in the battery compartment when inserting the batteries.
Please note: When the device is not used longterm, please remove the batteries from the battery com-
partment. Best, use long life alkaline batteries. Exchange the batteries every 9 - 12 months to ensure best
functionality.
Time format
•
On initial use, the time is displayed in 12h format (after 13:00 is displayed as 01:00 and the PM LED is on).
•
Press and hold TIME (9) for three seconds to toggle 12h / 24h.
Time Setting
•
While the time display flashes, press HOUR (10), to set the hour.
•
While the time display flashes, press MINUTE (11), to set the minutes.
•
Confirm pressing TIME (9).
