Cabin Air Filter Removal
The information below explains necessary procedures and tools to remove and install the Cabin Air
Filter (CAF).
1. Remove the nine (9) glove compartment
mounting fasteners, and then remove the glove
compartment. (See Fig. 1)
2. Remove the CAF cover. (See Fig. 2)
3. Remove the CAF element from the filter housing.
The original filter can be discarded.

4. Install the replacement CAF. (See Fig. 3)
5. Reinstall the CAF cover.
6. Reinstall the glove compartment and secure it with
the nine (9) mounting fasteners.

Noise Test

7. Reconnect the battery ground cable.
8. Engine ON, A/C ON, blower speed on high.
9. Listen for any abnormal air noises from the air filter area.
