socket. Keep the cord away from heat, oil and cutting
edges.
- Only qualified personnel should be authorised to work
with the machine.
- Do not force the machine. It will work better and more
safely if its rated characteristics are observed.
- Use the correct machine model. Do not force a small tool
to carry out work for which a more powerful tool is required.
Never use tools for purposes other than those for which
they have been designed.
- Do not use damaged cutting discs.
- The machine operator is responsible for his own safety
and that of all others within the work area.
- Keep all other persons away from the work area. Do not
allow persons, particularly children, who are not concerned
with the work, to touch the machine. Keep them away
from the work area and never allow the machine to be
operated without the operator.
- Do not extend the working range too far. Ensure that your
feet are firmly placed on the ground and always maintain
your balance.
- Do not use diamond cutting discs in this machine.
- Use a device to stabilise the part on either side of the
cutting disc.
- Do not touch the motor after it has been in operation as
it is hot and may cause burns.
- Do not wipe the cutting saw with your hands whilst it is in
operation.
- Disconnect the machine from the mains electricity supply
whenever:
- repair work is to be carried out
- maintenance work is to be carried out
- the machine is to be moved
- the cutting disc is to be replaced
- there is no operator at the machine
- Avoid accidental start-ups. Ensure that the switch is in the
off position when the machine is plugged in.
- Only outdoor extender cords, marked as such, should be
used when the machine is used outside
- Remain alert. Look what you are doing , use your common
sense and never work when you are tired.
- The machine should always be kept in good working
condition:
- keep cutting discs clean to ensure better and safer
operation
- follow instructions on lubrication and changing of
accessories
- periodically check the tool cables and if they are
damaged have them repaired by an authorised dealer
- periodically check extension cords and replace if
damaged
- Check for any damaged parts:
- before using the machine again it should be carefully
checked to ensure that it is going to work correctly and
will be apt for the function for which it has been designed
- check the alignment and fixing of moving parts, any
damage to parts, mounting and any other conditions
that may affect operation.
- any protections or other parts that are damaged should
be correctly repaired or replaced by an authorised
technical service unless otherwise indicted in this
instructions manual
- faulty switches should be replaced by the technical
service
- do not use the machine if the switch does not switch
on and off.
- The use of any accessory or element other that those
recommended in this instructions manual may lead to the
risk of personal injury.
- This machine fulfils the corresponding safety requirements.
Repairs should only be carried out by qualified personnel,
using original spare parts otherwise users' personal safety
may be placed at considerable risk.
- Learn how to stop the motor quickly and be well aware of
how all of the controls work.
- Users of these machines should be familiar with the safety
procedures of the different operations and have a basic
knowledge of safety at work.
- Persons who have not received the necessary instructions
should never be allowed to use the machine.
- When not in use, the cutting table should be stored in a
dry, closed place out of reach of children.
VERY IMPORTANT
The machine must never be manipulated when in operation.
If any problem is detected whilst the machine is in operation,
disconnect it from the mains electricity before checking it.
