Remote Control

The remote control places the whirlpool functions at your fingertips to further enhance your bathing
experience. The functions of the remote are identical to the user keypad. You may turn the whirlpool on and
off, turn the heater on and off, and access/modify all whirlpool functions.
The mode selector button functions in the same way as the outer ring on the keypad. When "M" is pressed,
one of the modes will flash on the user keypad. If "M" is pressed again, the next mode in clockwise order
will flash. When the desired mode is flashing, press "OK" to activate it.
When the Flexjets, Waterfall, Whitewater or Rapids mode is active, the arrows will increase or decrease the
water flow volume.
The waterproof remote control is designed to be used in the bath and will float in the water.
Two AAA batteries are used in the remote control. To replace, simply unscrew the endcap and insert the
batteries, as shown above. Tighten the endcap securely, making sure the endcap makes contact with the
seal.

Programming the Remote Control

IMPORTANT! Programming the remote control is required. Your whirlpool will not respond to any
remote control until you program the remote. If you replace the remote control or replace the pump
control, it will be necessary to program the remote control.
Turn the whirlpool power on.
Turn off all modes of operation. Wait approximately one minute until the keypad darkens
completely (Sleep mode).
On the user keypad, press the UP arrow, DOWN arrow, and the "OK" buttons simultaneously. The
bottom LED on the keypad's indicator bar will begin flashing.
While the LED is flashing, press the "OK" button on the keypad. A light sequence will illuminate up
and down the indicator bar.
While the indicator bar light sequence is active, press any button on the remote control. The keypad
will stop the light sequence, perform a download, and then darken. This user keypad will only
respond to this remote.
NOTE: If you do not press any of the buttons on the remote within two minutes the whirlpool will not
respond to the remote control.
