CAUTION!
■ Danger of burns to your head and scalp if temperature chosen is too high! We recom-
mend that you start with a low temperature and increase it if necessary.
We recommend the following switch positions:
On/Off switch
To cool down the dry hair and to give a better hold to the hairstyle, you should
fi nish by blow-drying the hair cold (temperature setting • or COOL button).

Preparation

1. Wash your hair and dry it with a towel.
2. Thoroughly comb through your hair.
3. Make sure that the On/Off switch of the device is in the OFF position.
4. Assemble the device as a manual or standing unit (see the "Assembly: manual unit
– standing unit" chapter).
5. Completely unwind the mains cable and plug the mains plug into an easily accessible
plug socket (220-240 V~).
Quick Drying of the Hair
6. Switch on the device on the highest blower setting.
7. Select the temperature setting I or II.
8. Dry your hair evenly.
9. Finish off on temperature setting • and cool down your hair for a short while.
Smoothing the Hair
6. Start off by drying your hair without an attachment: Switch on the device on the high-
est blower setting and select the temperature setting I or II.
7. When the hair is just slightly damp, switch off the device.
8. Plug the hair-styling nozzle onto the air outlet opening, or set up the device as a
standing unit and attach the angled nozzle.
9. Switch the device to a low blower setting and a high temperature setting.
10. You should now blow-dry each strand individually using a brush until smooth.
11. Finish off on temperature setting • and cool down your hair for a short while.
