The Wöhler rotary viper requires very little
maintenance. The bearings in the end pieces are
self-lubricating. The core is sufficiently greased
with high-quality graphite lubricant.
After it has been in use for a long time it is possi-
ble that the grease in the core will need to be re-
plenished. This will become noticeable by the
protective PA sheath becoming unusually warm. It
should be returned to the factory for the grease to
be replenished.
