08. TECHNICAL INSPECTION
A technical inspection of the device is recommended before use.
> Check the external appearance of the device. There should be
no cracks in the casing.
> Check the condition of the lens and eyepiece: There should be
no cracks, greasy spots, dirt or other deposits.
09. POWER SUPPLY
> Equip the camera with two CR123 (A) batteries or rechargeable
batteries.
The correct polarity is indicated inside the battery compartment.
> Depending on their voltage, select (for a correct voltage dis-
play) between 3 and 3.7 V in the submenu
The operation of the camera is also possible over an external
power supply, such as powerbank or car power. The supply over
inserted batteries is automatically interrupted in case of external
power supply.
> Attention: Please make sure to always insert battery pairs of the
same benchmark and voltage.
Rechargeable batteries cannot be charged by the USB port!
We recommend 3.7 V batteries with a minimum of 700 mAh to
extend the runtime.
10. OPERATION / ADJUSTING IMAGE
> Open the lens cap.
> Press and hold the Power button for three seconds to turn on
the camera.
> To bring the observed object into focus, turn the lens focusing
ring.
> Select the screen brightness and colourmode over the shortcut
menu with a short press of the M button.
> Switch off the unit after use by long pressing Power button.
A countdown will appear on the screen, counting from 5 to 1, after
which the unit will turn off. If you release the Power button during
the countdown, the device remains on.
> To put the unit in stand-by mode during use (switching off the
display screen), a short press of the Power button is sufficient.
Short pressing the Power button again wakes up the device.
11. SHUTTER CALIBRATION

in further use the calibration needs to be done manually by pres-
sing the C button. Calibration is necessary if the image is getting
