Trouble-shooting.
Symptom
Appliance will not
switch on
While drying the appliance
switches off and cannot be
immediately restarted
Motor runs, but blows
only cold air
the appliance fails to cut

Power supply is dead

check fuses/circuit breakers
Connecting cables loose or broken
Aswitch off and remove from the power
supply, and test wiring connections and
cables with a circuit tester. if necessary,
replace the timer electronic
St 2400 E,
Power supply is dead
St 2400 Ec
check fuses/circuit breakers
St 2400 ES
Connecting cables loose or broken
switch off and remove from the power
supply, and test wiring connections and
cables with a circuit tester. if necessary,
replace the timer electronic with infra red
sensor
All versions
Thermostat has triggered
allow appliance to cool down for a few
minutes and then switch on again
All versions
Heating has failed
check the electric heating leads with a
circuit-tester in case of a broken wire if
necessary, replace the heating
St 2400,
When operated, the push-button sticks
StH 2400 z in
release the push-button again manually
Push-button does not spring back out
and stays in
have the push-button replaced

Infra-red sensor does not switch off

replace the timer electronics with infra-red
