ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. LOCATE IN TRUCK BED.
With the truck on a level surface,
place the truck box into position on
top of the bed rail and support box
with blocking. Square box to the
bed and level the box so the top is
horizontal when it is viewed from
the rear. Leave 1/8 in. gap between
Universal Low Side Box and Saddle
Box (if applicable). Ensure that
cover opens without interference.
2. ATTACH BOX TO TRUCK BED RAIL
With the truck box being supported by the blocks, insert
mounting clamps up from bottom through the slots inside the
box and around the bed lip as shown in Figure 2. Continue
to use blocks as added temporary support. If your truck
bed is constructed of aluminum, place the vinyl tape strip
between the end of the mounting clamp and the bed rail.

3. LEG BRACKET ATTACHMENT
NOTE: Check under truck bed before drilling holes. The
maximum bed width allowed between truck boxes on either
side of the truck is 49 inches between the legs. Measure the
width before drilling into the bed to ensure width is 49 inches
or less.
Position leg brackets as shown in Figure 3 and mark through
the leg brackets where to drill holes in bed and truck box.
Depending if the truck has a bed liner, the bed liner might have
to be cut in order to better support the legs to the truck bed
and box.
Remove leg brackets, re-block to temporarily hold up the
truck box, and follow Installing Blind Fasteners Instructions
on previous page. Mount legs to blind fasteners that are
installed in the truck box & bed using a 5/16-18 x 2-1/4" hex
head bolt, 5/16" lock washer, and 5/16" flat washer. If your
bed is constructed of aluminum, coat the holes with zinc rich
primer and use nylon washers between the blind fastener
and underside of truck bed. Repeat leg placement and
marking process for other leg, if you are not using the optional
mounting angle (Step 4).
4. OPTIONAL SIDE & SADDLE BOX INSTALLATION:
Use Figure 4 below to install mounting angle when attaching a
side box to a saddle box.
