Once the pilot is ready on the frame, you can start
mounting the propeller.
Check using your radio and by powering the propul-
sion, that the motor turns clockwise (seen from the
back)
Place the propeller holder on the motor shaft, and
insert the first propeller. The logo printed on the
propeller must be on the pilot side.
Place the second propeller. Mount the washer and
then the clamping nut.
For better hold over time, do not hesitate to put a
drop of Green / Blue threadlocker and firmly tighten
the nut.
The engine being very powerful and torquey, the
propeller could loosen in flight if this precaution is
not taken.
In the event that your Backpack XL2 and Pilote Mike
XL combination are too light ( it backs up while flying
into the wind), you can add a bag of 1kg of ballast or
300gr ballast individually in the pocket located under
the pilot.
The general rule is always to be able to move forward
into the wind with a minimum ground speed of
5km/h.
